Colombian devs Terravision Games break into the VR scene with a mash up of Tower Defense and FPS, which is surprisingly great fun in this format.
As janitor Elliott, you are Earth's one hope. By that the games means, you must build towers on maps to protect the friendly cube creatures from waves of enemies. As you progress maps get bigger and waves tougher save more numerous. In between maps you have the opportunity to upgrade your abilities, buy more advanced towers etc.
The fun comes during the waves where you can teleport to your towers to be fully "hands on" repelling the horde,in fps mode. I played this on Oculus Quest 2 which was perfect, as you will need to physically turn to face attackers as opposed to snap turn with a joystick.
No wires to worry about being tangled in here is a blessing.
Audio and haptics are top notch and the graphics are vibrant, cartoonish and effective. Gunplay feels on point and satisfying. It's only single player, bit the campaign will hell you going for around 8 - 10 hours.
All in all it's one of the much better VR shooters and a nice way to combine genre's into a fun and action packed VR experience.
