Darktide is the game from Fatshark, well known for their fantastic Warhammer themed take on a co-op musou Vermintide/Vermintide 2.
The have follows much the same premise but in the futuristic Warhammer 40K universe instead of the previous dark fantasy setting.
While being a gorgeous (if resource thirsty) game on desktop, it also runs surprisingly well on SteamDeck, with the caveats of reduced fidelity and frame rate.
Given the handheld's pixel density, there's a bit of wiggle room to allow it to still look pretty good on lower settings and hitting a pretty consistent target of 30fps.
I ran the game in compatibility mode GE Proton 7-41 with the following in game settings:
FOV: 85/60
Vsync: on
Performance cap: 30
FSR2: balanced
Sharpen: off
AA: off
You can also set your steam deck performance settings in game (by pressing the three dots button) to "per game profile", with 30 frame rate limit, Thermal power limit on and set to 8W for some extra battery life.
