Medieval Dynasty gets a full PC release

Medieval Dynasty is many things, it's very original, very grindy and very rewarding.

It's part rpg, part sim sand part survival as you take on the role of a young man who has fled from war and wants to take his fate into his own hands.

From starting out inexperienced and poor you quickly develop into many skills simply by using them. The goal is to become a successful leader of your community and the founder of a prosperous dynasty which is meant to last and prosper for generations to come.

Defending against wild animals while hunting for food, gathering resources and crafting equipment, building a house and erecting a whole bustling village while founding a family, all contribute to a unique gameplay experience across many genres.

Tough winters and unexpected events challenge your skills and dexterity as you strive to build your own legacy.

The initial tutorial section is slow and sightly tedious to get through, but a necessary evil to get the must out of the game. Although the pace doesn't really pick up too much the freedom to approach tasks and goals makes for a relaxing and gorgeous sandbox creation that is incredibly compelling.

Given the scope of the game, making it single player, allows you to enjoy sessions of any length. Almost akin to an artist returning to their painting or sculpture to add a little here or these but never quite feeling it's finished.

Medieval Dynasty now has it's full release on PC via GOG, Epic, Steam and Microsoft Store. While developers, Toplitz Productions, are planning console ports, further details and a timeline are yet to be announced.
