Orbibot, a decent achievement game.

It's no secret that trophies and achievements are becoming an increasingly profitable part of the gaming business.

People are somewhat addicted to the gamification, comparison and competition with other gamers on their friends lists.

Companies are now cashing in with relatively cheap, easy game score games. Unfortunately quality control seems to be secondary to ease of achievements in the majority of these releases. Customers are in effect paying $5 for a 1000 gamerscore and to hell with the actual gameplay.

Every now and again however, a little gem turns up, like this one in the form of Orbibot from Ratalaika games.

It's definitely one of the more polished releases and genuinely good fun to play.

It is still a relatively short game with easy achievements, however it does feel like a real game rather than just an engine to gamerscore.

If you're still just going for quick and easy achievement completion check out this video from Achievement Land.
