Persona 5 Strikers, a first impression

P5S is definitely one for persona fans as opposed to warriors fans.

It's kind of a sequel to P5 but with no big spoilers.

Still very story heavy,

....I mean kojima levels,

I've played just over 2 hours and probably 20 minutes of "action".

Almost fully voiced and incredible levels of style and polish.

The story is good, it's kinda cheesey, you groan a bit then suddenly find yourself completely sucked in and invested in the characters.

It's basically done the reverse of yakuza like a dragon, turning a jrpg into an ARPG while retaining all the nuance that makes it a persona game.

There's even a nod to "dragon: like a yakuza" in the first area of Shibuya.

If you liked Persona or enjoy JRPGs you'll lap this up, if you're looking for a dynasty/Hyrule warriors musuo you'll probably be disappointed.
