A firm standout favorite among many fans including myself.
Hard to believe it was 40 years ago. I still remember watching this in the cinema with my father so vividly.
Personally my favorite of the entire franchise.
I was too young to really appreciate Star wars and recall hiding behind the sofa anytime a trailer came on the TV showing Chewbacca or Darth Vader.
But I was just about the right age for the Empire Strikes Back and really appreciated this fantasy, sci-fi epic and it's still my absolute favorite to this day.
So a very happy birthday to "The Empire Strikes Back" 40 years and may you capture the imagination of people everywhere for another 40 and beyond!
