Turn your Steam Deck into a PS Portal

If you already own a steam deck then there's very little point in splashing out for a PS Portal.

Follow the step by step instructions below and you should be up and running in no time.

As always with the steam deck, you can make your life a lot easier by connecting up a mouse and keyboard before you begin, although it's completely doable solely on the deck

1. **Get Started:**

- Press the Steam button below the left trackpad.

- Choose Power and switch to Desktop Mode.

- Navigate to the Discovery tab (shopping bag icon).

2. **Install Chiaki4Deck:**

- Type "Chiakra" in the search bar.

- Opt for Chiaki4Deck and install it for seamless integration.

3. **Activate Remote Play on PS5:**

- Launch Chiaki.

- Enable Remote Play on your PS5: Settings > System > Remote Play.

4. **Connect to PlayStation Network on Steam Deck:**

- Press Steam icon, choose All Applications, and open Chiaki4Deck.

- Open a browser in Desktop Mode.

- Follow instructions on [this link](https://trinket.io/embed/python3/52183a157e?outputOnly=true&runOption=run&start=result&showInstructions=true) to link your PSN account.

5. **Add Chiaki to Steam Library:**

- In Desktop Mode, open Steam.

- Add a non-Steam game, select Chiaki.

- Switch back to Gaming Mode for a seamless experience.

6. **Customize Your Gaming Experience:**

- Open Chiaki in Gaming Mode.

- Add custom artwork and tweak your controller layout.

- Explore Community Creations for PS5 controller layouts.

Now, enjoy the freedom to play your favorite PS5 games remotely on your Steam Deck!
